» Back to listing New ISO 14001 Implementation

12th January 2017

ISO 14001 has changed and you should now be thinking about or starting to make changes to help you transition from the old standard to the new.  Despite all you have probably read about the new standard this needn’t be as big a job as you may have been lead to believe and the changes may well be enormously beneficial to you and your environmental management systems. The new standard has been written with a a few key benefits in mind and with a well designed 14001:2015 EMS you should be able to realise some or all of the following benefits:

  • Ensure your environmental management is aligned with the strategic direction of the organisation
  • Introduce an integrated approach with other management system standards (9000 has already been rewritten and BSOHSAS 18001 will become ISO 45001 in the near future)
  • Increase involvement of the leadership team

Peak are now working with a number of companies to help with  redeveloping their systems and have already had success in helping companies achieve certification to the new standard.  If you think it’s time you started to plan your transition and would like some advice or bespoke consultancy support then please contact Dan Wellington dan.wellington@peakhse.co.uk  â€‹01142720335 .
